India Cements Ltd. entrusted the responsibility of establishing a school in its township to DAV College Managing Committee, New Delhi through the Regional Director, South Zone. Consequently a semi project school named Raasi Dayanand Anglo Vedic High School was established in the year 2003 to cater to the educational needs of the employees of India Cements.
Raasi DAV High School is managed by DAV College Managing Comittee through Regional Director, South Zone. It is located on the vast lush green premises of peace and serenity, in the self contained township of Vishnupuram, which is about 25 km from the nearest town, Miryalaguda (Nalagonda district of Telangana), and about 180 km from Hyderabad.
From its modest beginning in 2003, Raasi DAV High School has been engaged in a steady process of developing the individual talent and the holistic growth of every student. The purpose, the aim and drive of the school is to imbibe in the child the skills and values essential to face the challenges of the increasingly competitive modern complex world with a humane approach.
